Nintendo DS LiteThis is one of the most common questions I get asked so it will be the first Nintendo DS Hack that I add to the site.

Let me just make it clear, there is no magic involved. We are just making our Nintendo DS (Lite) function like the iPod not making it look like one.

To complete this and many of the other hacks we will carry out on either the Nintendo DS or DS Lite we will need a R4DS Chip. To find out about the R4DS and where to get them from check out the R4DS page.

Once you have your R4DS set up, things are pretty simple. All you need to do is add your files onto the MicroSD card, place this inside you R4DS cartridge and plug it into your DS/DS Lite.

When you switch on the console you will see some icons, choose the Music option and away you go, you can select which song you would like to play.

Now chill out and listed to your music via the earphones or built in speakers.
